Why Choose Palermo P11
Padded Side Rails
Frame has upholstered padding on the sides, not just the headboard. P11 version is fully wrapped in fabric.
Fade-Resistant Required
Full upholstery means more fabric exposed. Choose fabrics rated for light resistance. More surface area = more sun exposure.
Full Wrap Standard
P11 comes fully upholstered by default. Padded side rails are included, not an upgrade. One complete fabric finish.
More Fabric Included
Full upholstery uses more material than headboard-only beds. Price reflects the complete wrapped frame design.

Italian Leather: Luxury That Improves With Age
Real Leather
The Palermo P11 is upholstered with full-grain Italian leather. Not bonded leather, not "leather-look" vinyl. Actual cowhide, tanned in Italy. It costs more than fabric beds. Whether that's worth it depends on how much you value leather.
Leather has practical advantages. It doesn't hold dust like fabric. It wipes clean. It stays cooler than vinyl in summer. Over time it develops a patina, which some people like and others don't. It scratches more visibly than fabric.
The P11 uses matched hides so the color is consistent across the whole bed. There will still be natural variations because it's an animal product. Grain patterns, small marks. That's how you know it's real leather versus synthetic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Full-grain (premium): natural hide surface with all character marks visible. Top-grain (standard): surface lightly buffed for uniform appearance. The P11 offers both - full-grain for character, top-grain for consistency. Both are genuine leather aging beautifully.
Excellent! Leather handles dry climates better than humid ones. The main consideration is temperature - leather can feel cold in heavy AC or warm in heat. In climate-controlled Saudi bedrooms, leather is ideal. Periodic conditioning prevents drying.
Classic: black, dark brown, cognac, tan. Modern: gray, taupe, navy. All colors age differently - light leathers show patina more dramatically, dark leathers develop subtle richness. Our Riyadh showroom has leather samples showing new and aged appearance.
Actually easier than fabric! Spills wipe off immediately (leather resists absorption). Dust weekly, condition every 6-12 months, professional cleaning annually. Leather doesn't trap allergens like fabric. The P11 is low-maintenance luxury - just needs gentle care.
Quality leather is very durable - hotels use leather furniture for longevity. Minor scratches often buff out or add to patina. Avoid sharp objects and pet claws. With reasonable care, leather beds last 20-30+ years. The P11 includes leather care kit with conditioning products.
Premium Italian leather costs significantly more than fabric. Each hide yields limited usable material (animal size constraint). Leather upholstery requires specialized skills. The P11 costs 40-60% more than fabric equivalent but offers unique aging and longevity.
