The Sicilia costs more than budget memory foam mattresses. **The question is whether longevity justifies the price difference.**

Memory foam degrades over time. After 7-10 years, most foam mattresses develop body impressions and lose support. The latex core in the Sicilia resists this breakdown - it's rated for much longer use.

## Sicilia — your questions













Why does natural latex last so much longer? Natural latex is pure rubber - inherently elastic material that doesn't break down like foam. Memory foam is petroleum-based polyurethane that oxidizes and hardens over time.

Will it last 15-20 years in Saudi climate? Natural latex performs well in warm climates. Heat accelerates memory foam degradation, while latex is heat-stable. With proper care, expect 15-20 years of consistent performance.

How do I know it won't sag? The natural latex core maintains its shape far better than pure memory foam. The 24-month warranty covers any manufacturing defects including abnormal sagging.

Is the higher price worth it? It depends on how long you plan to use it. A mattress that lasts 15-20 years costs less per year than replacing a cheaper one every 7-10 years.

What maintenance extends lifespan? Minimal maintenance. Rotate every 3 months. Use breathable protector. Vacuum monthly. That's it.

Can I pass this to my children? With proper care, natural latex mattresses can last well beyond their primary use period. After years in the master bedroom, many families move them to guest rooms.

What size does the Sicilia come in? The Sicilia is made to order in any size, matched to your bed — typically Queen (around 160 × 200 cm), King (around 180 × 200 cm) or Super King (200 × 200 cm).
