Choosing furniture for the home you actually live in is a different decision than scrolling through photos online. It is something you should sit on, run your hand across, hold up to the light. Our showroom in Al Malqa was designed for exactly that — to give you the time, the materials, and the team to make a confident choice. Here is what your first visit looks like.
Finding us in Al Malqa
The Mille showroom sits inside Tal Plaza in Al Malqa, one of north Riyadh's most established design destinations. The building is easy to find — large glass façade, the Mille word-mark in white above the entrance, illuminated after sunset. Valet parking is available at the main entrance, and there is a covered drop-off if you are arriving with family.
If you are coming from King Fahd Road or the Northern Ring Road, the showroom is about 12 to 18 minutes from most central neighborhoods. We always recommend opening Google Maps with our exact coordinates rather than searching by name, as the area has several similar plazas.

The first impression: what you walk into
The showroom is organised more like a private gallery than a shop. Instead of rows of identical sofas, each collection is given its own room or vignette, dressed with rugs, lighting, art, and styling so you can read the piece in context. The lighting is deliberately warm and layered — overhead, perimeter, and accent — because we want you to see how fabric will read in a typical Saudi living room, not under harsh retail spotlights.
You will see our flagship collections grouped by purpose: contemporary sofas, corner and sectional sofas, beds and bedroom sets, lounge chairs and armchairs, traditional and modern majlis configurations, plus dining and accent pieces. Nothing is roped off. You are encouraged to sit on every piece, lift cushions, open drawers, ask anything.
The fabric library — over 230 options in your hands
For most visitors, this is the moment the showroom experience really starts to feel different. The Mille fabric library holds more than 230 upholstery fabrics sourced from leading European mills — velvets, bouclés, performance linens, woven jacquards, and full-grain Italian leathers. They are organised by family and grade, and each one is available as a large hand-sample so you can drape it, fold it, see how it catches light, and check the weight.
If you bring photos of your room — natural light during the day, lamp light at night, the floor finish, any existing pieces — our team will pull a curated short-list against your reference images. Most clients leave with three or four fabric swatches to take home and live with for a few days before committing.
The 3D Design Studio
If the piece you are considering is going to be customised — different dimensions, different leg, mixed fabrics, a corner module added or removed — we will move from the showroom floor into our 3D Studio. This is a dedicated room with a large screen running our interactive sofa configurator. You will see your exact sofa rendered in real time, with the fabric you picked, in your dimensions, against a chosen wall colour or even a photo of your own room.
It is the moment that usually removes the last bit of uncertainty. Seeing a 365 × 220 cm L-shape with bouclé in cream against a beige plaster wall is different from imagining it. You can save the configuration, share it with your spouse or designer, and revisit it later. Nothing is ordered until you sign off.
The consultation: not a sales pitch
Every first visit at Mille includes a one-to-one consultation with a senior designer. It is unhurried, conversational, and starts with your room — not your budget. We will talk about who uses the space, how many people typically sit together, whether you receive guests in a majlis or open living, how the floor plan flows, what light the room gets.
By the end you will have a clearer sense of:
- Which collections actually fit your room geometry
- Fabric families that match your light and lifestyle
- Whether off-the-shelf or fully custom is the right path
- Lead time, delivery logistics, and assembly
- How the price is built — frame, fill, fabric, finish
We are happy for you to leave without a quote and just think about it. Most clients return for a second visit before placing an order — often with a partner or interior designer.
What to bring with you
You do not need to prepare anything to walk in. But if you want to make the visit really productive, these few things help enormously:
- Room dimensions — width, depth, ceiling height of the space you are furnishing. A simple sketch works.
- Photos of the room — taken in daylight and at night, with the lights you actually use.
- A floor plan if you have one — from your villa or apartment architect. Even a screenshot is useful.
- Reference images — anything saved on Pinterest, Instagram, or magazines that captures the feeling you want.
- The decision-maker(s) — bring whoever needs to agree on the final choice. Saves a return trip.
How long to plan for
A focused first visit takes about 45 minutes to an hour. If you want to explore multiple categories — say sofa + majlis + bedroom — plan for 90 minutes to two hours. Weekday afternoons are typically the quietest. Friday evenings and Saturdays are our busiest periods, and we recommend booking a time slot in advance via WhatsApp so a designer is reserved for you.
Plan your visit
Reserve a private consultation or just drop by — we are open seven days a week. Our team will hold a time slot for you and prepare a curated short-list based on your room.
